Moushumi, who is based in Kolkata, works across different places in India, Bangladesh and in the diaspora, listening, recording and archiving songs and sounds. Wherever she goes she carries a piece of home in her songs. Bari kothay, she asks; where is home? Moushumi returns home to MayDay Rooms for her fourth consecutive concert joined, as usual, by her excellent band members Olly, Ben and Ros. Come along for an evening of music and conversation as we traverse histories of uprisings, protest and collectivity through Mouhsumi's songs.
